Kids surf camps

We are delighted to announce the dates for our kids easter and summer surf camps. Guaranteed the kids will be stoked as after the camp! Please note that Easter camps will all be in Rossnowlagh.

16 spaces per session. We have limited spaces so book ASAP. Our morning camps start at 9.30 and finish at 11.30am. Afternoon sessions are also available from 1 to 3pm. Our kids surf camps run from Tullan Strand in Bundoran and also from Rossnowlagh beach. We would recommend Rossnowlagh for kids learning to surf, especially younger kids under age 10. The waves in Rossnowlagh are more gentle than at Tullan and there is also more shelter from the wind. The walk to the beach is also much easier in Rossnowlagh. Please be aware that sometimes we may have to move surf lessons from Tullan to Rossnowalgh due to swell, wind and/or tide conditions. If this is the case we will let you know the day before and you can meet us in Rossnowlagh.

Please meet us at the beach – parents need to drop off and collect kids at the beach.
We have morning and afternoon kids camps running from Tullan and Rossnowalgh each week but please note that sometimes we may have to move the location or time you booked due to surf and weather conditions.
If the child has a wetsuit it is a good idea to arrive already changed into the wetsuit, with dry clothes in a bag.
If the child does not have a wetsuit we will supply one and the child can keep the suit for the week.
You can get the wetsuit on Sunday evening between 5pm and 5.30pm at the surf shop, or else on the Monday morning at the beach.
For kids under 10 we will ask that the parents stay on the beach for the duration of the session for at least the first day.
All wetsuits, coloured vests and equipment provided.
Warm 5mm wetsuits to fit all sizes.
We are not providing wetsuit boots and they are not needed in the water – bring your own or wear a pair of old shoes or sandals to walk to the beach
Maximum ratio of 1 instructor to 8 children, or 2 instructors to 16 kids, ensuring your child is well looked after.
Fully trained and highly experienced surf instructors to lead and mentor the group
All surfing levels are be catered for.
We adhere to a strict child protection policy.
Age range 8 – 16.

Son goes every year to the surf school, loves it.. great enjoyment ,fun and surfing improvement..

Brilliant

Brilliant kids camp, they really enjoyed it. Josh and Sarah were excellent teachers and everything was really well organized. Post surf hot chocolate and biscuits went down a treat.
