After a break of 2 years due to COVID we are running our November trip to the Algarve. The trip is open to beginners and intermediate surfers as we have a beginner lesson package and a guided trip. The Algarve still has pleasant sunshine in November and is a perfect place to escape the Irish weather and storms. There is a west coast and a south coast so there is plenty of options for winds and swells.
Lesson v Guided trip
The surf lesson trip is for those that are still in the white water and want to have a surf instructor beside them in the inside. All lessons will be on foam boards and will be run in conjunction with a local surf school. The guided trip is for those who are surfing on hard boards and want to progress there surfing. We will have a guide on hand to offer advise, tips and take photos. The guided trip will be less structured with location and times. We basically find the best surf for your level to help you improve. Those on the guided trip can bring their own board or we can arrange a board locally.
Most days we have breakfast arround 9am before hitting the road at 930am/10am. We then head off on the road to find waves. Typically we have lunch at the beach after the first surf before heading out for an afternoon surf. Generally arround 3/4pm we head back to base where we chill out before going to dinner in a local restaurant.
The trip is €495 and includes
7 nights accommodation in bunk rooms (singles and privates available on request)
5 days surf guiding/surf lessons
