Summer 2020!

As with most of us the Covid 19 pandemic has changed everything. Thankfully the situation seems to be getting better and the travel restrictions are easing here. At the moment we are looking at having the surf school/shop open for June and our surf lodge/surf camp open for July 20th. These are provisional dates and subject to change. We are waiting for clarification for the surf school and surf lodge from the government and are expecting this in the next few days. At the moment we are putting protocols and systems in place to help us to allow social distancing to protect staff and customers.

Everyone is keen to come and we will stoked to see our customers back as soon as it is deemed safe to do so. We are starting to take some provisional bookings however until we receive more clarification we are only going to take bookings on some of our services. We have had to change our packages to comply with public health advice. Things are evolving as we get more guidance we will expand our offering.

Surf Camp

The Surf Lodge will open on the 20th July. To begin with we will only take group bookings from families/household bookings who live together and where social distancing isn’t an issue. As the rules evolve on this so will our policies. The surf camp bookings will be one week packages with surf and stay in our various self contained units. Initially we are only taking bookings for 1 week. More info here

Surf Shop

The surf shop will open week of June 8th with limited numbers of people allowed in store at any time. A good option is to email us with what you need or buy online and we can have it ready for you to collect and we can take payment over the phone or online.

Surf School

OurĀ  beginner and intermediate sessions are open again from the 8th June for those within the 20km travel limit. As this is mostly local people and we are getting used to new practices we are doing some special deals for local families. We will have social distancing protocols in place which will be announced soon in conjunction with the Irish Surfing Association. Again our group bookings will be limited to household/family groups until we get further guidance. We are re configuring our surf school and at the moment we will be based at our board store at Tullan Strand and at our board store unit in Rossnowalgh. We wont be providing transport to the beach and an adult will need to be onhand to help all Under 16s.In line with regulations we wont be providing changing rooms in Bundoran or Rossnowlagh, but we have an outdoor screened changing area at both locations.

We will be in touch soon. Stay Safe
